So it was that time of the year again where the mountain program staff had to show off their performing skills.  As usual, the high school had their massive Christmas show and after the lights faded, the smoke settled and

 the screaming stopped, there could be only one winner… The 3-in-1 dance extravaganza brought to stage by the mountain staff!!  Ok, there was no winner, but in our minds, we were AWESOME!!

The show started off with our hosts, Kate and Hiking, warming up the crowd and then introducing the first act of the night; the Wonder’Boys’ with “Nobody”.  Dancing to this popular Korean song was Hase, Roddy, WenZi, Mickey and Adrian.  Dressed in glittering outfits, top hats and wigs, they certainly entertained the screaming fans.

 Next up were our two tall guys, Flo and Achuh, along with Asong, delivering a faultless rendition of Taike dancing.  Never before has anyone seen such grace and elegance on stage and they got a well-deserved ovation.

Jackson 3, Yaching, Haber & Jeff

Rounding up the performance were ‘King of Pop’ wannabe’s, Jeff Jackson, Yaching Jackson and Haber Jackson, shaking their booties to ‘Beat It’.  After a strong opening, the rest of the cast joined them on stage to dance out the rest of the song.  After a couple of solo efforts, including a failed moonwalk attempt by Haber, the curtain drew on yet another successful production by the mountain program.

Amidst the roaring ovation and screaming and crying high school girls, they left the building for some much needed fresh air.  Job well done!!

The following evening we once again had our staff party at Roddy&Flo’s.  Following pretty much the same recipe as previous years; lots of food, Jeff making cocktails, gift exchanges, drinking games, and of course the “Hase Special” (photo’s too graphic for this public space), the evening ended up being a huge success.  It marked the end of a very successful and VERY LONG year for the mountain program family!!
